The ECHO Academy pop-up exhibition in AQB project space

ECHO ACADEMY
Having an EU and non-EU Balkan Region exchange focus and character, ECHO Academy aims to cultivate and nurture young and emerging European talents from the fields of arts and the cultural and creative sectors (CCS) in order to enhance resilience through monothematic, small-scale creative academies in the fields of comics, fashion design, music, photography and architecture by exploring different expressions of European heritage.
ACADEMY IN BUDAPEST
In Hungary, the 10 selected creatives were exposed to the 100-year-old industrial heritage of Budapest between 1860-1960. Participants of the Academy were inspired to reuse and reinterpret the Urban Industrial Heritage of Budapest. Project ideas, artworks that were created by the participants during the Academy. Artworks will have visual elements such as photos and mock-ups. The artworks were developed with the help and facilitation of artistic supervisors, academic researchers, and production partners of the Academy, and will be exhibited at the end of the residency.
