My artwork were inspired by spirit and yeast production during the residency program in Győr. I tried to capture the transformation of yeast in my artworks, showing it in its different phases during spirit production. The chemical reactions of spirit production and the extension and transformation of the yeast inspired me. The colors seen in the factory, the geometrical dynamics of its buildings is also reflected on my artworks. My aim was to capture the traditions of alchemy, which is the philosophy of transforming materials into something new and more valuable.
The artwork explores the ancient practice of alchemy. The geometric shapes and fluid patterns intertwine, symbolizing the merging of elements and the quest for inner transformation.
At its core, a swirling crimson vortex commands attention, symbolizing the inherent in the alchemical process. This focal point draws into a dynamic exploration of transformation. Radiating from the central vortex, two geometric forms extend outward, intricately connected yet distinct in their composition. These elements represent the convergence of opposing forces—masculine and feminine, earthly and ethereal.
